"...pieces that reach beyond decades of headlines, books and broadcast documentaries regarding President Kennedy’s extramarital affairs for the humanity, and individuality, of the women either revealed or alleged to have been involved with him as well as his wife of 10 years." THAT WOMAN - THE MONOLOGUE SHOW at the MN Fringe Festival! This is a 60-minute festival version of the production that first premiered at the Darkhorse Theater in Nashville, TN. Shows planned at KC Fringe, MN Fringe, Rochester Fringe, Elgin Fringe and more!
We are seeking female-identifying/non-binary actors of all ages/ethnicities/body types to fill open roles. The actor does not need to look like the historical figure that she/they will portray.
Rehearsals for MN actors will begin mid-June with a virtual read-through with the entire cast and then one-on-one rehearsals with the director via zoom at days/times convenient to both. There will be one 3-hour tech rehearsal at the venue - Mixed Blood - with the entire cast, date and time tbd.
Payment will be a small stipend (think $100, but hopefully could be more) based on a split of the door among actors after production expenses are met.
Dates and times for the show are as follows:
8/4 - 1:00 pm
8/7 - 5:30 pm
8/8 - 8:30 pm
8/10 - 8:30 pm
8/11 - 4:00 pm
