Bedlam’s Technical Tools of the Trade program is back and we've got an exciting series of workshops coming up very soon! Thanks to generous funding from the State Arts Board and the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, Bedlam has gathered a fantastic array of instructors to teach courses on scenic carpentry, welding and painting, scenic design, stage lighting and lighting console programming, sound design, sound engineering and Qlab.

The Soap Factory and Live Action Set are seeking volunteer actors to participate in 2014’s Haunted Basement production titled Unhinged, Directed by Noah Bremer with Assistant Direction by Tyler Olsen. Unhinged is a terrifying, site-specific production where the audience is immersed in a broken, twisted world.

Seeking Performers for a research into the connection between actor and audience

"Why Theatre?" is a research into the moment when the audience breathes with the performer, the moment that the performer's honesty contaminates the audience's imagination and the performance can take them anywhere . . . A series of simple, powerful five minute pieces, "Why Theatre?' will be performed in public spaces around the Twin Cities in July. Director Shante' Zenith is still searching for five more performers to be involved — it will be a very flexible time commitment that should be workable around fringe rehearsals and job schedules.

The Workhaus Collective needs ushers for Jeannine Coulombe's show HOMEGROWN (at the Playwrights Center) directed by Ellen Fenster and starring Jennifer Blagen, Miriam Schwartz, Matthew Rein, Katherine Kupiecki, and Adelin Phelps.

You would get in to see the show free, and all we need is some front of house help before the performance begins--help sell tickets, help people find their seats. It's a small theater, so a very low key job, but it comes with lots of gratitude.

Seeking volunteer string, percussion players for Holiday Concerts

Springboard's Free Screening Day is for artists, arts administrators, and their families. FREE screenings include cholesterol, blood sugar/diabetes, hemoglobin, vision (eye-chart), depression (mental health), blood pressure, STI screenings for men, HIV and pregnancy testing. There will be influenza (flu-shots) and Tdap (combined Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis/Whooping cough) vaccinations.

Double Artists' Access to Healthcare (AAH) vouchers!
