Springboard for the Arts, in partnership with the N.I.P. Community Clinic and Twin Cities Musicians Union, is presenting a Free Screening and Vaccination Day for Artists on Saturday, November 12. Screenings include cholesterol, blood sugar/diabetes, hemoglobin, vision (eye-chart), depression (mental health), blood pressure, STI screenings for men, HIV and pregnancy testing. There will be influenza (flu-shots) and Tdap (combined Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccinations. Nurse practitioners and RNs meet one-on-one with attendees to discuss screening results and to develop an ongoing care plan. Date: Saturday, November 12. 9:30am - 2:00pm; 11:00am - 12:00pm for members of the Twin Cities Musicians Union. Location: N.I.P. Community Clinic, 2431 Hennepin Ave. S, Minneapolis.
