Auditions for Bloomington Civic Theatre’s Carousel (Director Gary Gisselman, Choreographer Michael Matthew Ferrell, Music Director Anita Ruth) will be Sunday, October 19th and Monday, October 20th starting at 6:30pm. Dance call will be held on Saturday, October 25th starting at 2pm. Callbacks, which will include additional dancing, will be held on Sunday, October 26th starting at 6:30pm. APPOINTMENTS IN ADVANCE ARE NECESSARY. Audition location is the Center for the Arts in the Bloomington Civic Plaza, on the southeast corner of 98th St. and Logan Ave.

HELP! Woodbury HIgh School is looking for a tech director to design the set for their fall musical "CURTAINS. Ideally we would like the designer to act as master carpenter working with the students to build, mount and strike the set. Hours would be after school or evenings on weekdays, Saturday and/or Sundays. You can set the hours within these parameters. We would love for this person to design lighting and be knowledgeable in sound (microphones and SFX) and to work closely training students to be on the boards. Our current tech director had to drop out abruptly.

Combining a pole dancer, crumbling synagogue, feisty friends, 1930s porn videos, a local Jewish day school, religious awakening…and a ghost, "If You Don’t Weaken" centers on a young woman’s quest to observe a year-long ritual of mourning for her grandfather.
"If You Don’t Weaken" will run March 28-April 11, 2015 at Nimbus Theatre.
*There will not be a performance on Easter Sunday.*
