CLIMB THEATRE is pleased to announce auditions for an extensive training video being produced for a large school district on the subject of bullying and harassment. The shooting will take place over several days, starting mid-May and scheduled at intervals through mid-June. Several roles for adults. Multi-racial, multi-ethnic casting is essential. The principal roles for Adults are in an age range of 24 to 60. All positions are paid, including extras. First round of auditions, for ADULTS ONLY, will take place from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on May 7.

There are also roles for elementary school extras, middle school extras and high school extras.

A Gentle Spirit Auditions

Auditions for an adaptation of Dostoevsky's A Gentle Spirit to premiere at the 2013 MNfringe festival.
The story charts a pawnbroker's recollection of his wife from their first meeting to her suicide. He goes through justification, blame and contradicting thoughts until he comes to the "truth," that it was his actions that led her to take her life.
A classic examination of pride, regret, and how the lack of empathy and compassion leads to tragedy.

Looking for two actors:
All ages are flexible to a certain extent.

WHEN: Friday, May 31st (5-8 pm) and Saturday, June 1st (8-11 am), broken into half-hour time slots

WHAT: Please prepare a 16-bar vocal piece, and have piano music ready for our accompanist. A resume and headshot are nice, but not required.

Locally Grown Theatre, a new theatre in Cottage Grove, is in IMMEDIATE need of a replacement Mortimer for our May 2013 production of "Arsenic and Old Lace". Looking for a late 20's/early 30's Mortimer, based on our current casting. Role must be cast by Saturday, April 27.

Performances are May 16-19, 2013 in Cottage Grove, MN. Rehearsals are T, TH and Sat, until May 6, when rehearsals will begin each evening. Stipend probable.

The Theatre Cosmic needs a Stage Manager for our 2013 Minnesota Fringe Festival show, STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR WITH PATRICK STEWART by Brandon Taitt, directed by Kevin T. Houle.

Auditions will be in early May; there will be a couple of rehearsals in June, and a more concentrated rehearsal period in July; performances are August 3-10 at the Red Eye Theater in Minneapolis. Compensation will consist of a guaranteed MN Fringe Artist Pass and a small stipend. Previous experience preferred.
