In this physical and practical three week adult workshop, participants will explore 4 levels of theatrical clown: Simple Clown, Pathetic Clown, Tragic Clown and Bouffon Clown. They will discover what is innately ridiculous about themselves and learn to play and invent from a truly spontaneous, honest and open place.

Creepy old Mister Barnaby will stop at nothing to marry Mary Cringly, who's engaged to his nephew, Alan. They, along with a host of other characters - including helpful elves, singing sisters, and an evil zombie army - catapult the story beyond the point of no return, and into the realm of truly crazy! Fun, ridiculous, with a big heart and totally berserk!

The show will be decided in collaboration with the director, and choice will factor in breadth of experience of actors, cost, rehearsal and performance time, and interest of the director. Twenty-five to 35 7th and 8th grade students will be acting in the play, with another twenty or so building sets, marketing, and supporting the production.
