OLIVER! Auditions for Kids, 9-15 at UNW-St.Paul

The University of Northwestern-Saint Paul seeks talented kids, ages 9-15, to audition for our fall production of Oliver! the Musical.

Auditions Details:
Saturday, September 6th
1pm-4pm
Ages 9-15, Must be no taller than 5'4"

Please prepare 18 measures of musical theatre repertoire and come prepared to dance. Children with gymnastic, tumbling, and other physical talents are encouraged as well.

Learn and cover absences for run crew of six. Responsibilities include: Preset, maintenance and cleaning of the stage, scenery and props as assigned. Shifting, flying and maneuvering of scenery/props in a consistent, accurate manner as assigned. Other duties may include: follow spot operation, special effects operation, puppeteering, and assistance to the Wardrobe Staff for quick changes.

Rehearsals begin in Sept. The show opens October 31. Cast size 10-12.

Rosetown Hires Production Staff

Rosetown Playhouse, the north suburban area's premier community theater, is seeking to Hire Production Staff for it's original Winter Musical, an adapted version of Babes in Toyland. It is funny, fast-paced musical with a small and a large, intergenerational cast. Ideal staff will be "outside the box" thinkers, who are good collaborators and are also willing to work with LARGE groups of people. The average cast size for our winter show is 70 people.

Choreographers Sought for 2014-2015 Season

Blue Water Theatre Company of Wayzata is seeking a talented choreographer to join our team during our 2014-2015 season.

The initial project we are seeking help with is an elementary school musical (grades 3, 4 & 5) that will take place on October 24 & 25. Rehearsals begin September 15 and run from 5:00-6:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional rehearsal hours will be scheduled the week of the show. You will be working as 1/2 of a directing team with a director/music teacher.

Other projects may arise as the season progresses.
