"Why Theatre?" is a research into the moment when the audience breathes with the performer, the moment that the performer's honesty contaminates the audience's imagination and the performance can take them anywhere . . . A series of simple, powerful five minute pieces, "Why Theatre?' will be performed in public spaces around the Twin Cities in July. Director Shante' Zenith is still searching for five more performers to be involved — it will be a very flexible time commitment that should be workable around fringe rehearsals and job schedules.

The Workhaus Collective needs ushers for Jeannine Coulombe's show HOMEGROWN (at the Playwrights Center) directed by Ellen Fenster and starring Jennifer Blagen, Miriam Schwartz, Matthew Rein, Katherine Kupiecki, and Adelin Phelps.
You would get in to see the show free, and all we need is some front of house help before the performance begins--help sell tickets, help people find their seats. It's a small theater, so a very low key job, but it comes with lots of gratitude.
