Presented by
Bloomington Civic Theatre
Set in 1930s Berlin, Cabaret depicts the interlocking stories of a cabaret singer (Sally Bowles), a writer from America (Cliff Bradshaw), and the citizens of Berlin, all caught up in the swirling maelstrom of a changing society. Local favorite, Joe Chvala is providing a different flavor to the typical production of Cabaret by returning to the original score, which reintroduces such favorites as “Telephone Song” and “Sitting Pretty”.
